Unveiling Oft Interiors Ltd.'s Award-Winning Design Concept

Driven by the "rheological" characteristics of film image symbols, The Movement MixC Cinemas is a testament to Oft Interiors Ltd.'s innovative approach to design. The project, inspired by the concept of "image flow," creates a multi-dimensional coexistence space that presents a contemporary concept of enjoying life. The design is akin to a good film, rich in meaning and capable of drawing viewers into another dimension of consciousness flow.

The unique properties of this design lie in its ability to accommodate the viewer's perspective. Through careful selection and arrangement of lighting, materials, color, and space layout, the design conveys the intended emotion and value. The use of marble, aluminum, fabric, carpet, glass, coaching, and painting in the realization of this design further enhances its uniqueness.

The project, which covers an area of 4,094 sqm, started in 2017 in Shenzhen, China, and was completed in October 2018. The design team, comprising C.M. Jao, Ken Cheung, and Tobey Ngo, faced the creative challenge of integrating the concept of a "Time Tunnel" into the design. This was achieved by using 300 LED light bars to create a visually stunning, future sci-fi "time-space tunnel."

Underlying the design is a profound understanding of the human condition. The design of the corridor, with its interplay of retro white-black and minimalistic art form, reflects the human tendency to oscillate between nostalgia and the pursuit of the future.
